Led and conducted multi-method research (in-depth interviews, focus groups, prototyping) with students, faculty, and administrators to design the vision, user journey, programming, and physical space for a community college makerspace

How might we help community college students build creative confidence, integrate it into the fabric of teaching and learning, and activate the maker mindset on campus?
The Outcome
The IDEO team designed a strategic vision for HIVE, a hub for students, faculty, and the community members, including the space, learning experiences, programs, roles, and brand.
The Impact
Today Lakeland’s HIVE provides hands on pramming and spaces for use by the Lakeland community and public.
