Developed and mentored team conducting UX research and prototyping with teachers and students to design a targeted digital program to help STEM educators in the Philippines identify teaching gaps and create intuitive lessons
The Challenge
How might we design a flagship program for STEM educator development in the Phillipines that makes a tangible impact on students, in a scalable and sustainable way?
The Outcome
A targeted, just-in-time program to help STEM teachers identify teaching gaps and create intuitive lessons.
The Impact
“The GBF Class Builder” program provides a guided walkthrough to help teachers prepare for their upcoming classes, with teaching resources and learning moments so that teachers can build their knowledge while they are preparing for their classes.
Bite-size learning modules take less than 15 minutes to complete so teachers can fit them into their busy schedules.
And group coaching sessions and interactive live events with experts allow teachers to connect with each other, get support from experienced teachers, ask questions and receive advice on challenges they face in the classroom.
